Vente Drakkar ’11 sale a success
The Vente Drakkar ’11 goes into the record books as a very successful international event. Many visitors from several different countries found the way to Drakkar Holsteins and were impressed by the great quality line up of the sale animals. 28 of the 29 sale animals were sold to buyers from 8 different countries for an average price of €5.961!
The top price of the Vente Drakkar ’11 was paid for Lot 6A, DKR Domina. The Dutch-based Kings Court Dairies purchased her for €29,000. DKR Domina is the #3 GTPI Ross daughter in Europe and is one of the very first descendents in Europe out of the Ronelee Outside Dabble EX-95-USA cow family. Domina’s mother, Ronelee Toystory Darva EX-90-USA is a sister to the heavily used sires Domain, Durable and Digger.
The Italian herd of All. Nure Holsteins were the buyers of Willsbro G Lila Z for € 14,000, the #3 Gerard daughter in Europe and out of the family of the One Million Dollar Cow, Lylehaven Lila Z EX-94-CAN. Her grandsons Lexor & Lavaman are the #1 & #2 GLPI bulls in Canada at the moment! Lexor’s maternal sister Hood Baxter Lucia VG-86-FR 2yr. was purchased by the English breeder Richard Yapp for €6,800. Her beautiful Superstition daughter sold for €8,600 to the Irish Beechrow Holsteins.
One of the very first descendents in Europe out of Nova-TMJ Golden Echo VG-88-USA 2yr., GS Nova-TMJ Jackie sold for €11,200 to the Echo Syndicate Germany.
